Correspondence

Chapter one uses excerpts transcribed from four screenshots supplied by the author on 11 September 2026. Names, photographs, timestamps, email metadata and identifying attribution combinations are omitted. The source images are not reproduced or linked. Excerpts preserve their original wording; separate blockquotes are separate excerpts, not a claim of uninterrupted text.

The open-source response is selectively excerpted to omit the organisation's name, with the response's scope-and-fit conclusion paraphrased outside quotation marks. The systems reply is quoted only through “But happy to be useful if I can.” The subsequent membership discussion is outside this account. These privacy edits reduce identification but cannot guarantee that distinctive wording will not be recognised.

The author's MPP background and the relationship context are supplied autobiographical information. The correspondents did not review this account before publication. Their replies are not scientific validation or endorsements of the Foundation. First-person interpretation is the author’s editorial framing, not additional recovered correspondence.

Research record

This account builds on the author's supplied draft, “The Search for 100 Thinkers: How the Internet of Value became a research system before it became a list,” and the locally preserved IoV100 handoff and audit records.

The 760-person universe and inherited eligibility totals come from the corrected RECONSTRUCTED_v2 baseline. The ontology contains 22 capabilities and 30 questions. The original source attachments, exact definitions, claims and person-level evidence remain in the private research archive. Detailed discovery-lane counts and older verification totals from the supplied essay are not repeated here because they were not reconciled for this edition.

The contact figures come from the 11 September 2026 provenance-repair report and validator output: 20 records, 33 disputed fields, 14 retained, two replaced and 17 withdrawn; 61 work-email fields, 90 verified profile states and 10 blocked. The counts are dated stored states with the audit's explicit legacy-reinspection limitation. No contacts or candidate-level assessments are published in these chapters.

The workflow validation preserves the 30 supplied checksum checks and the earlier record of 18 compact packets. The later v1.0 checkpoint records 100/100 full Stage4B evidence dossiers, 100/100 outside-lineage reviews, 680 claims and 678 sources. A checksum checks preservation; a schema checks structure; a dossier records an inspected evidence argument. None establishes intellectual validity by itself.

The final portfolio replacement, coverage figures and validation boundary come from the 21 September 2026 v1.0 report and final Empty-Chair audit. The implementation challenge suite records eight passed checks against synthetic fixtures and zero observed empirical IoV tests. Individual intellectual independence remains unestablished.

Reading this edition

The chapter sequence is a narrative organisation of the project, not a timestamped claim about the order in which each email arrived. Diagrams explain the workflow; they are not measurements. The Priority 25 audit, portfolio-wide Stage4B pass and final Empty-Chair Test are completed repository checkpoints. Empirical validation and stronger independence analysis remain future work. Contact research remains a separate operational queue and does not affect membership.

The interactive constellation is generated from a deliberately restricted projection of the final selection, inspected claim mappings and verified coauthorship signals. It excludes contacts, raw claim text, source locators and private working assessments. Node position indicates a primary IoV question family, not rank, affinity, agreement or influence.
