Why a Number Needs an Identity History

Wellbeing is never observed in a vacuum. The same action can mean recovery, avoidance, discipline, fear, service, or necessity depending on the person and the period of life in which it occurs. Measurement needs context, but context must not become a disguised hierarchy of human value.

The Internet of Value represents that context through eight nodes of ~WellbeingIdentity.

Given Identity holds declared context such as age, geography, language, health context, and other conditions that shape interpretation. Earned Identity holds education, credentials, work, accomplishment, and demonstrated contribution. Rented Identity records the platforms and institutions on which parts of reputation or access depend. Skills describes evidenced capability. Moral Compass records declared virtues, boundaries, and commitments. Story gives narrative continuity across past, present, turning points, and intended future. Identity State holds compatible history, earlier epochs, trajectories, and attestations. Consent and Disclosure decides what evidence may be used and what, if anything, may be shown.

These are not eight new wellbeing dimensions. They answer different questions from the six components. The Identity nodes ask: Who is this person in context? What evidence exists? What dependencies and commitments matter? What history is compatible? What may the reviewer use? The Wellbecoming components ask: What is the current living state of Physiology, Emotion, Feeling, Thought, Habit, and Performance?

Keeping those questions separate is a constitutional safeguard. If the eight nodes became eight more score components, the system would encourage people to accumulate identity attributes for numerical advantage. Identity would become a résumé contest, a demographic classifier, or a publicity market. The architecture instead treats Identity as evidence that can inform interpretation without directly awarding points.

The baseline therefore resolves into exactly six component values. The eight nodes remain visible in the evidence map that explains how those values were reviewed. After Genesis, they are not added again each day. Only eligible post-Genesis Wellbecoming events move the live state.

Identity comes before measurement here, but it does not sit above the person as a rank. It gives the measurement a place to stand.
