Attention selects; time bounds

Life is continuous. Attention selects meaningful signals from exteroception and interoception. ~ValueCaptureProtocol binds that selected information to ~~~StartTime and ~~~EndTime; ~~~Duration expresses the resulting boundary.

The observed time slice is therefore neither information without time nor time without information. It is selected observation recorded within an explicit temporal boundary.

Attention alone is not yet a record. A signal can be noticed and disappear. ~ValueCaptureProtocol prevents that disappearance by binding selected information to time. ~~~StartTime and ~~~EndTime do not create meaning. They create boundary. ~~Activity describes what happened. ~~Proof grounds the claim. ~~Attribution locates the actor and context. ~~Integrity protects the observation from becoming fantasy with a timestamp.

Capture before valuation

~~TimeSlice supplies the boundary. ~~Activity describes what occurred. ~~Proof refers to supporting evidence. ~~Attribution records actor, beneficiary, project, role, or validation context. ~~Integrity carries quality, anomaly, and fraud-risk metadata.

The time slice does not decide value by itself. It records the observation before valuation. Interpretation comes later through ~WellbecomingProtocol; commons validation is conditional; identity consequences remain scoped and revisable.

Attention selects signals. Time gives boundary. Protocol records the observation. Vocabulary interprets it. Identity receives the update. Commons validates contribution. Math expresses value.

Implementation lens

Each approved slice receives one immutable ProtocolLinkId and a revision number. Corrections preserve that identity, supersede the current revision, and return the record to community-role validation before deterministic replay.
